Education has a major role to play in today’s world. Students have much wider options to get into better colleges as the scope of education has widened. Students must get into universities or institutes that are renowned and has a proper UGC or an AICTE approval. One should be aware of fake universities which are also prevalent nowadays. Degrees from UGC approved universities are readily acceptable outside India.
Here are some UGC approved lists of universities:
- Calcutta University: It is situated in West Bengal is the 2nd best among all the universities in India. It also has an UGC approval and is old and renowned. It provides bachelors, masters, doctorate and post doctorate degrees in numerous subjects.
- Delhi University: This UGC approved University in Delhi also provides undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate degrees in various subjects and ranks the 1st among all the universities in India.
- Banaras Hindu University: This is also one of the best universities situated in Varanasi. It provides various bachelors and master level programs. This university is UGC approved.
- Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU): This UGC recognized university in Delhi has its name for masters in social sciences. It also provides masters, doctorate and post doctorate in various other subjects as well.
- Allahabad University: This UGC recognized university is one of the oldest. It is located in Allahabad. It provides undergraduate, post-graduate and doctorate degrees in various subjects.

Sir i have done my graduation from cmj university..but now a days it’s been under some problem..but when three years ago i joined it at that time it was ugc recognized..i have applied for ll.b in Punjab university..but due to controversy they have given me provisional admission..sir would this thing effect my career because i don’t have any option left after it
Shubham, if u have done ur graduation from CMJ University (regular/distance from meghalaya), then no problem but if u have done ur graduation from other state then there might be some problem because CMJ University says they dont have branches/agents in any state.
